About Me:

My name is Matthew Williams. I’m a 3D artist from the greater Philadelphia area. I've been a 3D professional since the beginning of 2005 after graduating from the Art Institute of Philadelphia's Media Arts and Animation program in December of 2004. I began my career for a small architectural visualization firm in Wilmington, Delaware where I stayed until 2008. There I learned to work quickly and efficiently under tight deadlines with demanding clients.

In the summer of 2008 I began working for defense contractor Lockheed Martin in their e-Media department as a Graphic Artist - their name for the 3D staff. Over my years at Lockheed I worked on many exciting projects, creating immersive simulations training groups like TSA and the United States Navy. This gave me a lot opportunities to expand my abilities, hone my skills and experiment with new techniques and workflows.

While working at Lockheed Martin I was made a Lead Artist, learning first hand how to effectively run a team to meet the expectations of a project, manage time and workloads, and leverage the strengths of each individual.
